Stop me if you’ve heard this before. A woman walks into her doctor’s office and tells him she thinks she’s having ‘symptoms’. He dismisses her and says one of many things. A. It’s all in your head. B. Well you’re at that age or C. You just need to get more exercise? So many women complain of having their concerns dismissed by their healthcare practitioners. Not only is this extremely frustrating and disrespectful, it can also lead to more serious health issues.
