What can I say about the hour plus spent with Sir Tom Leary?
Fantastic and well worth any true music fans time hearing Tom recount first hand experiences seeing legendary Blues guitarist Eric Clapton, followed by super group Led Zeppelin making their London rounds before conquering America. Tom tops all that off with his firsthand account of an unknown young phenom guitarist Jimi Hendrix, as he explodes on the London music scene in the early 70s.
As Tom reflects on his early days as a Graphic Artist Calligrapher Sign Painter, his early attraction to his first musical influence of his Uncle with traditional Irish music to his introduction to his first guitars and the power of sound generated by towering Marshall Amp Stacks. Enjoy. -IMGN

Tom Leary is a multi Instrumentalist specializing in all Stringed instruments including Guitar, Electric and Acoustic, Slide and Lap Steel Guitar, the Violin, Mandolin, Mandola, Bazouki and Flute.
Originally from Durham in the North of England, Tom has played toured and recorded with the group, LINDISFARNE featuring Joe Brown, Steve Gibbons, Bernie Marsdon (Guitarist from Whitesnake) Phil Bates (of ELO) and many more.
Tom currently plays with Feast of Fiddles (put together by Hugh Crabtree in 1994)
along with other additional collaborations and musical contributions with
The Gary Fletcher Band, Silverblues and Joe Brown.
