Tariffs are coming, but Congress can stop them

President Trump knows how to leverage U.S. market access as part of the economic security program for the entire country. President Trump is the only person who can do this. If a nation wants to align with an alternative trade currency, President Trump will tariff their products at 100%, and/or shut them out of the USA market completely.
MAGAnomics Simplified: Everyone who is a pragmatic critical thinker knows that China will (a) subsidize their targeted industries; then (b) devalue their currency to lower the impact of exports to the USA. Beijing controls the banks, and they did this before. As a result, the dollar value increases and imports cost less.
The Chinese imports then enter the USA at a lower price consistent with their cost estimate as a tariff offset. China takes in a lower price but retains access. That’s just how it works. The importers pay the tariff with a lowered price and a higher valued dollar. Essentially statis for the time being.
Then…..
EU industrial products to Chinese manufacturing plants start to contract, due to China’s aggressive cost cutting initiatives.
The EU gets angry about the impact to their economy. The EU then follows the same path and devalues their central bank currency; further pressuring the dollar to an upward price. Exports to the EU are now more expensive; however, imports from the EU to the USA are now cheaper. Again, the EU goal is statis.
Both scenarios create cheaper USA imports despite the tariffs. However, on the EU side Trump then ends the Marshal plan and executes “tariff reciprocity” against the EU. More frustration and gritted teeth by Brussels.

Exports from the USA ultimately cost more because the dollar is stronger against EU and Asia currencies. However, a stronger dollar is an offset to BRICS leverage and allows Trump to play economic chess.
the USA has first right of refusal to any trade agreement made by Mexico or Canada. That’s correct, Trump now controls a veto on trade agreements within USMCA partnered countries. Suddenly Xi Jinping is vulnerable in Mexico if Trump nixes the EV production. Beijing is financially exposed and vulnerable. Big Panda not happy.

Trump will likely divide the globe into three trade areas. Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Each area will have a trade advisor with specific instructions on that region.

Incoming Border Czar Tom Homan Says Trump Administration Will Investigate Foreign Countries and NGOs Behind Border Invasion

Homan said that the groundwork for securing the border has already begun, even before President-elect Trump takes office on January 20th. He is already coordinating with Texas Governor Greg Abbott to secure the southern border.

Former high-level United Nations officials to launch ‘DOGE-UN’ to highlight agency inefficiencies

EXCLUSIVE: A group of former United Nations officials fed up with its inefficiency launched “DOGE-UN,” an investigative effort that will highlight waste by the world body.

Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service Warned About A 100k-Strong NATO Intervention In Ukraine

The NATO-Russian proxy war in Ukraine might be on the brink of an unprecedented escalation that could easily spiral out of control if Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) is correct in claiming that NATO is planning a 100,000-strong military intervention in Ukraine under the guise of peacekeepers. The purpose is to freeze the conflict, presumably by having these troops function as tripwires for deterring a Russian attack that could spark World War III, and then rebuild Ukraine’s military-industrial complex (MIC).
Another important detail is that “NATO is already deploying training centers in Ukraine, through which it is planned to drag at least a million mobilized Ukrainians”, while police functions will be carried out via Ukrainian nationalists that SVR likens to World War II-era Sonderkommandos. The last part is intriguing since it raises the question of why 100,000 NATO troops/peacekeepers would be required. Only a fraction of that is needed for tripwire and training purposes so perhaps those numbers are inaccurate.
To summarize, Biden is beating Trump to the punch by “escalating to de-escalate” on better terms for the US, which Russia’s updated nuclear doctrine and the historic first use of the MIRV-capable Oreshnik hypersonic medium-range missile in combat are meant to deter.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said he will give up territory to achieve an end to the war with Russia.
After two and a half years of conflict, since Russia invaded the country in February 2022, Zelenskyy said in an interview with Britain’s Sky News channel that Ukraine would need to be protected by the “NATO umbrella” in order to achieve peace.
“If we want to stop the hot stage of the war, we should take under [the] NATO umbrella the territory of Ukraine that we have under our control,” Zelensky.
“That’s what we need to do fast, and then Ukraine can get back the other part of its territory diplomatically.”
Such comments indicate a significant shift in position for Zelenskyy, who has long insisted he will not give up one inch of Ukrainian territory.
Zelenskyy admitted that full NATO membership has not been offered, a proposal that Putin has rejected as being part of any peace agreement.

There are other pretenses that must be maintained, but those are the top ones.
Keep in mind, President Putin watched how President Trump dealt with the “North Korea threat” problem that was left to him by President Obama. Putin watched how Trump negotiated an exit to escalating conflict by honesty confronting China, the true hand on the puppet strings of the DPRK.
Vladimir Putin’s strongest weapon is the truth. Vladimir Putin also knows the auto-setting on President Trump’s psyche of problem solving, ie ‘optimal solutions’, is also centered on truth.
How does truthful President Trump deal with truthful President Putin, while all around the office of the White House are people who only know how to maintain pretenses?
One way President Trump could gain back the power of not pretending is to: (1) request an immediate ceasefire; then (2) tell the CIA (Ratcliffe) to immediately withdraw all CIA operatives from Ukraine; then (3) tell Secretary Marco Rubio to pull all USAID operatives out of Ukraine; then (4) tell Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy he must hold a national election within 60 days.

Poll: More Agree with Key Trump Policies than Oppose

More tend to agree with key Trump policies than oppose, according to a survey from the Economist/YouGov.
For example, the survey asked respondents if they agree with ending the automatic granting of citizenship to children born in the U.S. to undocumented immigrants. More support that policy than oppose — 45 percent supporting and 42 percent opposing. Predictably, most Republicans, 66 percent, support it, while most Democrats, 61 percent, oppose.The survey also found that most, 57 percent, support “funding a wall that extends along more of the U.S.-Mexico border.” Of those, 37 percent “strongly” support funding a wall on the southern border. Another 34 percent oppose such a policy. However, most independents and Republicans — 89 percent and 52 percent, — support it.
The survey also found that a plurality, 46 percent, support the Trump policy of drilling on federal land. Another 35 percent oppose it.
