Enjoy a jaunt down memory lane with a very humble and positive former Patriot, Vagas Ferguson.
Vagas credits his teammates and coaches but has a long list of accomplishments particularly at the University of Notre Dame.
He didn't slow down coming to the Patriots in 1980 - leading the team in rushing. Find out what it was like running behind John Hannah.
How did he handle playing for the 2-14 Patriots in 1981? How was it adjusting to a new coach in 1982? (Any of this sound like questions for next year's team?) He is candid but respectful about his dealings with successor, Ron Meyer, and Pats upper management.
Vagas gives his take on colorful New England teammates like Steve McMichael and Bob Golic among others.
And wait till you hear what Vagas did in the offseason to prepare him for life after football. Because you "gotta be prepared for life". Inspirational words from a good man.
