Derik White is the Director of Public Safety at FARO and a pioneer in the CAD and forensic software industry. Derik's career began in 1986 with the founding of CAD Easy alongside his father, James White. He later co-founded CADZone, where he developed Fire Zone, a critical tool for public safety professionals. After CADZone was acquired by Ferro Technologies, Derik led the development of FerroZone, combining CAD precision with advanced forensic tools. Derik's expertise in CAD technology has significantly advanced public safety software, and his innovations continue to shape the future of forensic investigations. In his free time, Derik enjoys playing the guitar, drawing inspiration and creativity from his music.
