One of the first things that tends to leave us when we fall in to anxiety or stress is our breath. But it’s also one of the easiest things to get back when we make a conscious choice to rescue it!

Dixi and I share our experience with box breathing, a simple yet super effective technique that’s even used by Navy SEALs to stay calm and focused under pressure as well as regulate the central nervous system. This breathing process of INHALE - HOLD - EXHALE - HOLD can help manage our thoughts, our days, our anxieties, and our tensions and can be done anywhere at any time. And Dixi and I can attest, it’s a perfect tool to add to our box of soul exercises!
