Welcome to the 5 Points Church Planting Podcast where three church planters hope to make at least one good point. In each 30-minute episode (give or take), our goal is to discuss the ins and outs of church planting from a Reformed (as well as Presbyterian - we are PCA ministers after all) perspective. We also want to hear from some insightful voices concerning church multiplication. Our desire for this podcast is to be helpful, encouraging, stimulating and above all else glorifying to God. Meet the Hosts: Dr. Hunter Brewer is planting Trinity Church PCA in Collierville, Tennessee (suburb of Memphis). He is the founding and former senior minister of Madison Heights Church PCA in Madison, Mississippi (suburb of Jackson). He helped start the Mid-South PCA Church Planting Network and served as the first coordinator. Additionally, he has experience as an assistant minister and in church revitalization. Hunter is a graduate of Samford University and Reformed Theological Seminary. Rev. Josh Kines is the founding and current senior minsiter of Parish Church in Lafayette, Louisiana. Previously, he was a missionary in Colombia and Peru. Josh and his family helped start Madison Heights Church PCA. He was the church's first assistant minister. He also served at West End Community Church in Nashville. Josh is from Mobile, AL and a graduate of William Carey College and Reformed Theological Seminary. Dr. Dean Faulkner is the lead pastor and co-church planter at South Charlotte Presbyterian Church. He is an experienced pastor having led multiple churches including two church plants in the PCA. Prior to pastoring, Dean worked as an electrical engineer at a Fortune 500 computer manufacturing company in the new products division. On the side, Dean also serves as a guest lecturer and the director of the Center for Church Planting at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte. He is a graduate of Gordon-Conwell and RTS. Perhaps the most important voice you will hear from time to time is Reid Kelly. He makes this podcast happen when he is not watching or thinking about baseball. Reid is the ministry assistant at Trinity Church PCA. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and Belhaven University. He is currently a student at Memphis City Theological Seminary.
