While the risk of getting covid is still a part of our lives, for people with long covid it could be a life changer. Some people experience the symptoms of covid for many months or even years afterwards. Commonly these include extreme tiredness, brain fog or loss of smell. It has been estimated between 10% and 35% of people experience long covid after contracting covid -19. Dr Toby Hillman is an expert on long covid in the UK.
