As Presbyterians, we have our history grounded in the Reformation. We know that we are "reformed and always reforming." It is part of our DNA as a church. The piece that we miss is that the church has been reforming since before Jesus's time. Jesus Christ also reformed the temple when he turned over the tables where doves were being sold and money was being exchanged. The purpose of the Church (big C) is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever. When we worship in Spirit and in truth, we are living into our purpose.
