It's all about sharing great practice, developing the profession, & making coaching even more effective. It's fascinating, and it's often fun - but it's really only the start of the story; coaching is about the client's agenda - it's about the people we help. So what do they think about it? My guest today is Marcia Bailey from the UK Sports Institute which delivers support services that enable sports and athletes to excel. In fact, over the last 20 years, the UK Sports Institute’s work has contributed to over 1000 British Paralympic and Olympic medals. I’ve come to know Marcia and her team really well because – just like Management Futures – they put coaching at the heart of what they do, and One of the ways they do that is to sponsor colleagues to achieve the ILM coaching qualifications that I help to run.
