In this episode I’m joined by my childhood and high school friend, Paul Caulfield—an attorney, Fordham professor, and fellow podcaster. We reminisce about our DC roots, the twists and turns of life, and how friendships can find their way back even after years apart. Paul shares his journey from teaching grade school to practicing law, living in Latin America, and launching his podcast, Opinions My Own: Risk, Fintech, and the Law. Along the way, we discuss the eerie accuracy of digital tracking, and how technology is shaping the way we connect.

That leads us into an even deeper conversation about AI-generated voices and digital companions. Imagine an AI so real it can form—and manipulate—emotional connections. We break down the risks of AI-driven interactions, the growing disconnect in human relationships, and how at-risk individuals can be impacted when these technologies fall into the wrong hands. How do we protect ourselves and our loved ones from the potential dangers of AI and social media while still embracing their benefits?

This episode is a fascinating mix of nostalgia, laughter, and critical discussions about the digital world we live in. Tune in now for a conversation that will make you rethink technology, connection, and the power of human relationships.
