Welcome back to Film Haven Reviews!! This week we are continuing out "Masters of Giallo" theme with the enjoyable and mysterious Lucio Fulci film, The Psychic (1977).
This film was much more enjoyable than last week's Deep Red, with a narrative that was consistently engaging and a score and cinematography that wasn't constantly taking me out of the film. I gave this movie a 7.5/10 for doing exactly what it set out to do, and providing some fun twists and turns, even if the film itself felt sort of by the books for its genre. It will certainly be the new standard for Lucio Fulci films I see in the future.
