2020 is HERE. After all the built-up, all the planning, the decorating, the cooking, the baking, the stressing, the holidays - BOOM - are over and done with. Now, one part of you might be super delighted that it's all finally behind us. But there might be another part of you that's like: Now what?! What am I supposed to do with me time, money, wandering mind and scared heart now that all the distractions are gone? Re-entering into "normal" life can feel scary, overwhelming, and - also - slightly underwhelming, disappointing even. This steep fall from the overstimulation of the past month can cause major depression as you are now faced with the realities of life again - a life that you might not particularly like. I get it. I've been there, which is why I share powerful solutions for not allowing yourself to get lost in the post-holiday blues. This time after the craziness is your time to heal and feel. Don't let it go to waste. In this episode of the Escape Diet Prison Podcast, I also reflect on losing my connection to nature, what nature meant to me and my intention of reconnecting with "Mommy Earth" again in this year and moving forward. I talk about death, the circle of life, growing roots and giving yourself the permission to have a blank slate. And - of course - there's so much more! Enjoy listening to this first episode of the new decade! This episode was recorded on a recent walk through the woods, so if audio quality matters to you BIG TIME, this might be one of the episodes to skip.
