It's definitely a charged up edition of our show after the 'was it or wasn't a knockdown' in the narrow split draw for the Tank Davis-Lamont Roach PBC main event. And, our guys are ready to go over it all on the "Fight Freaks Unite Recap Podcast."
Host T.J. Rives returns with insider Dan Rafael of his Fight Freaks Substack and Newsletter and they are LOADED UP for their takes!

They get right to the recap of the PBC on Prime Video PPV from Brooklyn, as Gervonta Davis retained his WBA title with a draw over Lamont Roach Jr. What was THAT in the 9th round as Davis took a knee and then illegally went back to his corner and threw the ropes to have his eyes and face wiped, while the round was going on? The boys go over it the controversy and Dan has fresh insight on the dispute abou whether the NY commission and the alternate ref actually had a clear look at the events in the 9th round or not?!

On the undercard, Gary Antuanne Russell dominated Jose Valenzuela over 12 rounds and wins the WBA 140 lb. crown. Meanwhile, Alberto Puello likewise decisioned Sandor Martin and keeps his WBC version at 140 lb. Will these two be fighting next?
Also, Yoenis Tellez looked great in beating former world champ Julian Williams to win the vacant WBA interim 154 lb. crown and Johan Gonzalez defeated by decision and retires Jarrett Hurd on this card, too.
Next they stay in the same division nad briefly recap Salita Promotions main event from Fajardo, Puerto Rico, as Subriel Matias TKO 8 against Gabriel Valenzuela and is now the IBF top fighter at 140 lb.

And, there was more controversy with the Matchroom Boxing main event from Belfast, Northern Ireland as Lewis Crocker won while on the canvas in an eigth round DQ for Paddy Donovan for hitting him after the bell. It was wild with Donovan on the ground in tears at the verdict We go over the incompetence of it all.
