In Case No. 1:23-mj-04605-DHH, Special Agent Zachary A. Mitlitsky of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) submitted an affidavit supporting a criminal complaint against Han Lee, James Lee, and Junmyung Lee. The affidavit outlines an extensive investigation revealing that, since at least July 2020, the defendants operated an interstate prostitution network with brothels in the greater Boston area and eastern Virginia. They advertised these illicit services through websites masquerading as professional nude modeling platforms, such as www.bostontopten10.com and www.browneyesgirlsva.blog. The operation involved renting high-end apartments where recruited women engaged in commercial sex acts for cash. The defendants facilitated these activities by arranging transportation, managing appointments via dedicated phone lines, and maintaining the brothel locations. Financial records indicate that Han Lee, identified as the leader, concealed over a million dollars in prostitution proceeds through structured money orders, cash deposits, and various bank transfers. James and Junmyung Lee assisted by leasing apartments under their names or aliases and handling day-to-day operations, including transporting the women and collecting proceeds. The affidavit provides detailed evidence of their roles and the methods employed to sustain and conceal the prostitution enterprise.
