217) Supporting the Homeless in Our Community
Manage episode 450022934 series 2855496
In this episode I speak with Leticia Trujillo who helps to manage the FARO Center here in Santa Barbara. Leticia has devoted her life to helping non-profits support those less fortunate because she knows they are still valuable members of the community.
Listen to this episode to find out how you can support the center. If there is one thing evident to me, the challenge of homelessness is not going to be solved in Washington or any other political arena. The solution lies in community and all of us supporting one another. So instead of fretting over the state of the world and judging the homeless for being less-than, step into leadership energy and become a part of the solution. Let's experiment and see what kind of impact collaboration can have on SB!
I am sharing a link to the FARO Center so you can check it out! They can give you specifics regarding donations and other ways to help them.
