| Exploring, experimenting, and working with others to make the games work. That's the purpose of a lot these first games when it comes down to the host side of things. We listened to you before the game started, and we're still listening to you now, but Grave really wanted to try and make the poll thing work. I can't blame her. If it does work out, some way or another, then that's awesome. We would have a better way to count votes faster, so that if we ever do get into a crunch time situation, things won't be lost due to lack of speed. But we'll never know unless we try to make it work. And if it doesn't, then lesson learned, and you were absolutely right. New club= Learning experience |

And also, if people are worried they will be heard typing/not talking during the night. The GM can terminate the call then start a call with mafia members. Either way! I'm actually thinking of hosting a cluster of these rather than my multimedia NGNL project since school will start and I'll be really busy. Still wanna do my NGNL one, just not sure if I can do it right away now |

| Friends, may I speak on the voting situation? From my experience, it's best to keep a tally via MAL. I do not like the vote: SenorNekoKunTheForuth format personally since it's too hard on the GM (& GA if there is one) to tally, especially since some do and some do not use the unvote feature. I like lists. i.e. Vote MaiTai -uno -dos -tres Vote Your mother -ichi -nii -san Then it is up to the GM/GA to be the one to keep it up, or you can entrust it to the players. If your game calls for a leadership role (or even a role like the confirmed townie role from the mini game) then you can allow those players to keep it up as well. I personally like to entrust everyone to do it, and if they fuck it up, then it's my job as GM to clean up said list. I like the list format because it instantly lets the GM/GA know who is deemed inactive as well. Of course everyone can try out their own formats, it is their own game, but I think after we finish these first few games we should have a MS standard of how certain things go (i.e. voting system) so that all of our players know what to expect. The theme/roles/etc. can change, but things like voting should be the same across the board once all kinks are worked out. I'll repost this in staff chat for all staff members to see. |

| Mai's idea might be worth a shot, that is, if anyone wants to implement it into their games. Some things come down to the mod's taste, and if he/she likes to do things old school, then that's their preference. |

| That's true LuRo, but like I said, I really do think that some things need to be a general standard. I think voting one way in one game then something totally new in the next confuses players. I like the way it worked in Game v3 and I also use it for the Code Geass games I host in the forum games section. However, if staff would rather do something else, that's cool too, but when it comes to a) voting and b) signing up, I think we should all be on one accord. |

| I was talking about a standard earlier for the games, but you have to consider, we're still a fairly new club, and almost all of our games have been test runs in some way or another. The lay of it is that basically, we're not ready to have a standard yet until we can pull together, work as a team, and try out more games. However, trial and error doesn't have to be the only way we formulate the standard. It's important that we listen to staff members, and all they have to say, even if they come off as rude sometimes. We won't get anywhere by shooting down ideas/ ignoring them, but we will get somewhere by giving them a shot. |
