ESPN announced Thursday night that they were cancelling Around the Horn. Around the Horn has been a staple on ESPN for over 20 years...and ESPN will broadcast the final episode in the summer of 2025. Although no official reasoning was given for the cancellation...we believe we know why ESPN cancelled Around the Horn.
We explain the possible reason for Around the Horn being cancelled...and why the reason is a symptom to a larger problem at ESPN. We discuss ESPN lack of ability to create new stars...and question if the cancellation of Around the Horn signals that ESPN is shifting directions.
