- Delete On some other language Wikipedias, having named species is considered qualifying for notability, but it isn't enough for EnWiki (and rightly so). He has a decent Wikispecies entry, which is where he belongs. Hemiauchenia (talk) 19:50, 16 May 2021 (UTC)
- Redirect to an appropriate list, such as List of Estonian entomologists (not sure what nationality this person is), or else delete. There are a number of these sub-stubs, concerning people with absolutely no notability outside having described a couple genuses of insect. jp×g 00:29, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
- @JPxG: Mironov is Russian according to his Wikispecies entry. If List of Russian entomologists were to be created, I agree that would be an excellent redirect target; I like what you did with List of Estonian entomologists. Lennart97 (talk) 08:33, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
- Redirect to the corresponding list. Partly or temporary solution by user:JPxG is a clever move. However, the list-solution is not proper for any cases, because consider that we have all Vladimir Mironov taxons (100+) in enwiki, and it is irrational to name all these taxons under List of Russian entomologists. One solution is category:Vladimir Mironov (entomologist) taxa (already in Wikispecies:Category:Vladimir Georgievich Mironov taxa)--Estopedist1 (talk) 11:20, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Estopedist1: The current article on Mironov doesn't list his 100+ taxons, so his entry in a list of entomologists wouldn't have to do so either, right? It seems to me that whether to create a category for his taxons is a separate issue from whether to merge his article into a list. Lennart97 (talk) 12:20, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
