I realize that cuck points only start accumulating in Chapter 10, which means I only need to start paying attention to Ian not being too much of a bitch starting then.
So,
1. Ian and Lena need to be a couple
2. Ian's gotta keep his C-points to a minimum
3. One of them need to have cheated on the other while an official couple
4. If Ian fucked Cindy, he has to deny it
If I play with all of that in mind and still somehow don't get the scene trigger I'm ditching this game til full release in 6 years.
I like Holly a lot so this intrigues me, but I assume Holly trinity isn't compatible with corrupted slut Holly, right? Because if it's either/or, I know which one I'm gonna choose every time.
Just a warning. If Lena finds out about Ian and Cindy from Ivy. Ian and Lena would automatically break up if he confronts her at the beach. So my advise is to kiss Cindy to open up her path but don't fuck her in the streets so Ivy and Jeremy don't find out. You can then fuck Cindy without Lena knowing.
These choice options come up in two scene variants:
Not in the mood (dependent on Lena's disposition toward Seymour), or No Sex.
Compliment her, you can pretty much avoid the cuck route going forward.
If you choose one of the best, Ian's Chad level can prevent getting on the cuck route.
Lena does not have to explicitly cheat (the Seymour route is iffy) to end up on the cuck route.
Lena cheating just makes certain options/conversations happen...
The Holly Trinity route can be reached with Ian/Holly or Ian/Lena relationship. Ian cannot be a "cuck"...lol
As far as "corrupted" Holly, you can't let Holly be with Ivy. So, avoid that by keeping Holly's "want to be like Lena" to 2 or less going into the I think 2nd scene of the three of them at Ivy's place. Lena needs to take Holly home there. The first is where Lena kisses Holly, don't let Ivy do it.
Later on, at a club scene, Lena can encourage Holly to "go for it" with Mark, and Holly goes "slut" mode, but not under Ivy's "influence". Then, if Lena and Ian are a couple, you can get "slut" Holly in the throuple... I have one save route like that...lol
I think you can have a similarly "corrupted" Holly with the Ian/Holly route and get into the throuple, but I haven't specifically tried that route, yet. The key either way is avoid Holly and Ivy getting together at any point, that's one of the throuple killers.
After that Ivy's place scene, where Lena takes Holly home, Holly's "corruption" becomes "want to be like Lena" points. Accumulate the hell out of those after that Ivy's place scene, and you'll get a much more, Lena like Holly in the throuple or Ian/Holly couple.

I would applaud if devs started to invent new excuses exhibiting more dedication towards ongoing project. Just imagine Eva posting something like that:
"As I researched all that gloryhole stuff for Holly scenes in the field, I accidentally contracted an terrible STD. Next update will be postponed."
OK, that would be so wholesome and sacrifice for sake of quality of art and worldbuilding would be so much more meaningful for fanbase!
Something about chapter 13 kinda irks me. Can't put my finger on it but something just feels different from all the previous chapters. And the reused Cindy image isn't helping. But hope I'm wrong.

Yeah, maybe she or he wants to do something different and not focus on a dating Sim? Or a different project? I get that vibe but this is still like the top 3 games on this site so I'm hoping she finishes it with as much quality as the previous chapters.
Sick with 2 broken ribs for a good chunk of 2025. Still plowing through that doesnt indicate she wants the game to be over and finished. Though, she probably should of taken a hiatus since the quality has suffered a bit.

The main arc between the playable characters was mostly resolved in the previous episode. It's a hangover/transitional chapter where most of the cast kind of mulls around in a fugue state, wondering what is left for them to do. Like a bridge onto which the barrage of remaining scenes are superimposed.

Yeah... I think the themes of the game played out in the run-up to the Beach house. There was an obvious conclusion to Lena's arc there - Is she going to have a boyfriend and do the whole waitress/singer thing or is she going to become a party girl who wants nothing more than to be paid to go to Dubai and have sex with old men? THAT was a conclusion for Lena.
Problem is that there isn't a similar arc for Ian... Ian has improved his life but he hasn't really had to make any serious decisions. He's gotten into working out, he got a promotion at work, he got a novel that might get published, but beyond that the only real choice before him is whether he gets serious about one girl or follows Jeremy in being a ho.
I think Eva's aware that she lost the thread (as it were) somewhere along the line and neither endings feel all that satisfying so we're on the 'mopping up the arcs on the various LIs and second-string NPCs' phase. I think the project got away from her quite early on and she's been battling with it for a while. Too many variables. Too many options. All of them are fun and so none of them feels particularly satisfying and dramatic.

Stories are full of peaks and valleys as there are multiple rising actions, climaxes, and resolutions throughout; rarely is it ever one unless it's a short story. The beach house has been a long anticipated event, many storylines either got resolved or had a major breakthrough, which I'll go over later. It makes perfect sense that the chapter after the beach house is going to feel "off" because it's going to be a transitional chapter into the next series of plot threads. That feeling will only be amplified because we're waiting for it to be written instead of immediately moving on. Once the game is complete I doubt anyone will be saying this chapter doesn't fit. I believe that is what notstaged was getting at.

I'm not sure what you mean here. Lena's "Party Girl" lifestyle hasn't even started yet, that's what Billy's event should be exploring. Her singing career is waiting on the "battle of the bands" event that was only just introduced in chapter 11. What Lena did with Seymour was lock in her Posh / luxurious lifestyle and potentially also her modeling career. Modeling yet to be determined as others can still take photos even without Seymour, and Wildcats also assumedly exists outside of Seymour's influence. None of Lena's story arcs really came to a close at the beach house, or even after, outside of locking in her romance with Ian or the throuple. Lena has a lot of story to go, I'd argue she actually has more than Ian at the moment to resolve.

And, for the record, Ian has had plenty of resolutions to his story beats at the beach house too. If you need examples; Ian's relationship with Emma and how that effects Perry, Ian's relationship with Cindy and how that effects Wade, the Throuple, Ian can resolve to continue his playboy lifestyle or lock in on one woman. We just haven't seen those results yet, as we were covering Lena's PoV to start this chapter and haven't had an Ian PoV. We're still going to be waiting on Ian's book contest, hopefully next chapter, another round of the MMA tournament, what a fuckboy Ian will look like now that he's commited, and his living situation. Even if Ian has a good relationship with Perry he thinks to himself about moving out, and with a dedicated girlfriend, and his recent promotion, he has a good chance of moving out.
The Problem isn't/wasn't Eva doing two MCs, though that didn't help.
It was the bloated cast of characters that needed pruning. Lena has tons of lame fuck boys she can date/cuck Ian with, why are there so many? No need for Robert to exist; Jeremy already does what the black bouncer does...whatever.
Lean's LIs outside of Ian: Stan, Simon, Louise OR Ivy, Jeremy, and INSERT FUCK BOY HERE for Lena
Ian LIs outside of Lena should be: Holly, Cindy, Minerva, and Louise or Ivy
Tons of non characters who sucked up space and routes

Thanks for your input? A little out of left field perhaps. You also only subtracted one love interest from each character and added a character that doesn't exist, so I'm not sure your solution is effective. Who the fuck is Simon?
