He was the former Deputy Mayor of Teaneck, a Co-publisher of The Jewish Link of New Jersey, and a self-made entrepreneur.
Mendy has affiliations with the Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps (TVAC) and is a volunteer firefighter. He is a dedicated individual who wears many hats in his professional and personal life and truly believes in giving back to his community.
